As part of its ongoing drilling activities, our client is looking to engage a number of additional personnel to participate in its challenging drilling programme. They have asked for our assistance in the recruitment of a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team in Aberdeen
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- Develop the overall Project Quality Plan to ensure that standards are met
- Pro-actively liaise with appropriate SHE, Technology and Operations teams to ensure their input to Projects' quality activities
- Effectively monitor the SI Independent Competent Person verification activities
- Manage the Company inspection team - in relation to Projects Department activities
- Implement QA procedures and ensure QC is maintained to a high standard
- Monitor the derogation register and Non-Conformance register to ensure that variations to Company standards are treated correctly
- Supervise, co-ordinate and control the QA/QC matters for the supply of materials, prefabrication and construction for onshore and offshore works
- Provide effective technical assistance to the Project Team on all QA/QC matters
- Ensure procedures and rules are developed and applied according to the latest edition
- Control and check the specifications, requisitions, design, procedures, manuals etc. for compliance with Company Standards
- Conduct review of QC documentation generated in support of the Contractor's activities
- Liaise with Project Team members on a daily basis providing feedback on performance of Contractor/Sub-Contractor
- Arrange 3rd Party Inspection to ensure fabrications and procurements meet Company quality requirements
This is a contract position for a minimum of 16 months starting ASAP.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role working on multiple projects in the North Sea. Thge role will be based on-shore in Aberdeen.
