An Employee Relations Senior Specialist helps manage the ER agenda and provides an advisory service to specified HR teams. Coaches HR Advisers on disciplinary and grievance matters and other employment law issues. Develops new HR policies as required and updates existing policies in line with legislation/business need. Acts as case manager for all disciplinary and grievance activity in specified team and any employment tribunal activity. Liaises with and communicates to multiple stakeholders. Advise on the practical application of employment law and/or policy to a given business/individual issue. Develop personal expertise in one or more areas of employment law or Accenture HR practice to provide subject matter expertise to the Employee Relations Team. Develop and implement HR Policies and procedures to ensure HR best practice is achieved in all aspects of the business.

Skills Required
Skills and Knowledge needed (2 years min)
Sound understanding of UK employment law
Strong verbal and written communication skills with particular emphasis on structured arguments
Ability to manage multiple cases in parallel
Strong, planning and decision-making skills
Proven ability to build, sustain, and influence relationships, at all levels of an organization
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to invoke change
Strong diagnosis and assessment skills
Strong coaching skills
Project management skills
