This successful international professional services company are currently looking for a talented and passionate Cisco IP Tel Voice Support Engineer. Due to continued growth in all parts of the business they are looking to grow their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support UC products and provide technical advice and support amongst peers
- Support third party products - voice recording, billing, operator console, messaging
- Produce technical plans for change management activities as part of Cisco IPTel support
- Responding to 3rd level support requests
- Resolve complex IP telephony based technical issues
- Work as part of a worldwide team of technical support staff
- Provide support to the Service Manager during customer interactions and technical reviews
- Assist the solutions architecture team with planning and co-ordination
- Assist pre-sales design teams with voice solutions
- Adhere to the organisations break/fix service levels and objectives
- Document processes, procedures and network changes
- Network monitoring and reporting
- Capacity planning and forecasting
Skills/Experience Required:
Essential:
- The applicant should be a Cisco Engineer with CCVP certification
- Have strong Level 3 support experience in the following:
- Cisco UC Suite of products including:
- IP Telephony Applications - Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Cross Cluster Extension Mobility, Cisco Unified Mobility Advantage, Cisco Emergency Responder
- Contact Centre Application - Cisco Unified Contact Centre Enterprise, Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal
- Network Protocol - MGCP, SIP and H323
- Hardware - Media Convergence Server (HP and IBM), Voice gateways, Network Routers and Switches
Desirable:
- Min 2 years proven experience in supporting a Cisco IPTel environment
- Have a good understanding of ITIL Fundamentals
