Senior Procurement Manager
Responsibilities:
- Supply Base Management - ensuring best in class, competitive and well-managed supplier base in use with the necessary capacity
- Performance management - through competitive cost (Price Book), terms and conditions, availability, quality, innovation and development
- Continuous Improvement - through tools and standardization of global processes and policies
- Deliver budget by having hands on the pulse of trends (Price Book and SLA compliance), business progress, short and long-term, on company cost and inventory
- Cost Management - (Cost savings, unit cost per site, unit CAPEX to revenue )
- Compliance with Operational Excellence initiatives and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- A Master or University level degree, usually in Business or IT/IS, Purchasing (CPIS), law, or similar.
- Demonstrated category management expertise, ideally within your Category
- Strong Project Management skills to drive and deliver the category deliverables, savings commitment on time and within budget
- Experienced in complex agreement drafting and negotiations - ideally within your Category
- Proven ability to effectively manage a small team and stakeholder expectations
- Proven Vendor relationship management
- At least 5-10 years in a similar role or Group Procurement
- Must have in-depth knowledge of a global strategy within a large corporation
- Detailed understanding of IT/Telecoms procurement, and knowledge of commercial, service and contractual best practice in IT/Telecoms procurement
- Good knowledge of telecommunications network systems and their services (strong advantage).

- Effective presenter with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to travel, the role will involve a lot of interaction with markets.
- Fluent in English. Spanish and French highly desirable.
