- Vmware ESX 3.5 Installation & configuration
- Vmware ESX 4.0 Installation & configuration
- Virtual center installation & administration
- vSphere vCenter instsallation & administration
- Vmotion, DRS, HA configuration & troubleshooting
- Windows Virtual Machine Installation & management
- Linux Virtual Machine Installation & management
- P2V conversion
- Storage Vmotion
- VM & ESX time synch.
- Adding network & storage for ESX Servers.
- VMware tools installation for VMs
- Resource management for clusters
- Install & configure update manager for ESX server patching
- Performance monitoring & analysis of ESX & VMs
- Settings alerts to trigger from Virtual center
- Access & permission control
- Add/remove virtual hardwares from VM.
- Capacity Management
- Clone & template
- Creating ODBC connection for VC database
- ESX server & Virtual center Upgrade
- Installaing & troubleshooting thirdparty monitoring tools for Hardware & ESX server.
- ESX server console experience for various configuration & troubleshooting.
- License management.
- Windows knowledge for Virtual center server management
- Exporting diagnostic data from ESX & Vitual center for advanced troubleshooting
- Hardware Knowledge is a Must
- Installation & configuration of Blade Servers
- Configuring & optimizing performance of Vmware on Blades
- ITIL Knowledge
- Process knowledge
