My Client is a Major Investment Bank who are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join their team for an initial 6 month renewable contract.

The candidate is required to monitor and manage its redenomination risk in the event that one or more Eurozone countries leaves the single currency. The role holder will be required to work with different divisions and functions to produce monthly MI.

Duties:

Jobholders will be required to establish a monthly reporting process for our redenomination risk for internal MI and for submission to the Group's regulators. This will involve, creating and maintaining (through working with different Divisions and functions) a Groupwide database of exposures to selected Eurozone countries and working with Credit Officers and Financial controllers to understand the redenomination risk associated with each transaction.

Will need to look at monthly trends across the portfolio and investigate new transactions, liaising with Middle Office, credit officers and the business to understand the redenomination risk if any. Should ensure accuracy and completeness of information, flagging any issues to management.

The job holder will provide risk systems, data and MI services to Credit and other functions and business units. The role is within the Credit Portfolio Reporting Team, which oversees monthly reporting to the Board, Senior Risk Officers and regulators.

The team's reporting needs to respond to changes in the credit risk environment and incorporate exposures across the enite Investment Banking business. The roleholder may also be required to provide support for other regular monthly MI reports.
