About the Organisation:
This international leading outsourcer requires an Network Architect who specialises across voice and data to work closely with the design, sales and pre-sales teams to provide professional services to their client base. This is a rare opportunity to gain experience in a multi-vendor environment across multiple technologies.
About the Role:
The Network Architect will focus on designing and implementing voice and networking solutions through to operations in a multi-supplier environment. On a day to day basis the architect will be required to provide architectural direction to support and drive the development of the network to meet commercial and quality business needs The ideal candidate will have an understanding of architectural dependencies of technologies in use in the customer's Information Security and infrastructure security environment. A working knowledge of various technologies including; Cisco, Juniper, VOIP and F5 is required. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to create documentation as required ensuring that a sound, high quality solution can be implemented and supported, including SOWs and high level and detailed technical designs.
Skill and experience required:
* Proven experience as an Network Architect across voice (VOIP) and data (Cisco, Juniper and F5)
* Experience working within a large enterprise environment
* Experience working with an outsourcer preferred
* Ability to architect and design, present, complex multi-tiered solutions
* A minimum of 10 years experience in pre-sales, development or support roles in the network services space
* A strong understanding of a range of storage technologies
* An industry certification, for example, CCIE
* Excellent communication skills
