Volt is currently seeking a Sales Support Manager to work for one of our Global Leading Technology companies on a contract basis to run until June 2013.
you will be a key member of the virtual accounts sales team with a specific focus on managing the day to day customer support functions. You will need to maximise the use of resources, reporting tools and processes to provide structured and timely support to the Partner Account Managers, whilst constantly driving for sales support excellence and reflecting all activities via the consistent use of internal tools.
The mission of the Sales Support Manager team is to be the 'Pivotal' point of engagement between the Partner Account Managers and their customers through a consistent and predictable structure that focuses on the provision of account support, reporting, measurement and compliance via telephone and some face to face contact.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing support - working with activation team and Business Managers to support POS delivery, deployment, execution tracking and category management.
- Process support - working with the BM to ensure prompt payment and accurate tracking of Price protection, special deals, rebates and marketing payments.
- Supporting Partner Account Manager's in managing the SD tracker to ensure we are correctly financially accrued each month/quarter. Also then supporting Sales by processing all relevant claims from partners.
Skills Required:
-Essential Experience - excellent verbal and written communication skills with equally good listening and qualification skills. Experience of a multiple account set and a track record of working with a wide range of business partners. Strong Microsoft Excel skills will be essential for success in this role.
Qualifications -
Degree qualified with proven sales and experience preferably in the IT industry. Additional sales or marketing qualifications centered around business value would be beneficial.
