Description:
The person we are looking for is a Software Application Expert and should have several years of implementation experience of SAP-based platforms within Finance and controlling. The application expert should particularly have extensive experience in designing controlling processes and the associated controlling reports in both the CO module, but also in the areas of profit centre accounting in the New general ledger. Consultant should have excellent communication skills and good team player.

BACKGROUND
The program "Flow" will result in new processes and ways of working for large parts of the goods flow (supply chain) as well as for finance and controlling. At the same time, a large number of existing IT-solutions will be replaced by standard platforms to ensure a global, flexible and user-friendly system environment. The new IT-solutions will be the foundation for a business platform enabling continued growth in a long-term perspective for "multi-channel" and "multi brand" with well synchronized and efficient processes. This will be done in different steps and over several years.

It is important that structures are built for Master Data objects on requirements while assessing reusability of leading practices. The combination of organizational- and process design (as well as technology) needs to drive towards requirements that will resolve the key questions in a holistic approach.

All the above needs to be considered from a Global and Local perspective, ie parallel ledgers, currencies, languages etc.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE
Definition of reporting objects used in controlling processes such as Profit center, cost center & internal order. The application expert should have the experience to analyze and document requirements from the users and translate these requirements in to a SAP solution.

Extensive knowledge in areas of:

  • Definition and use of cost of sales accounting
  • Design & creation of substitution rules related to cost of sales accounting
  • Definition & creation of controlling reporting
  • Definition & creation of controlling allocations
  • Definition of controlling closing process

TASKS
Your primary tasks are:

  • Provide software expertise
  • Provide design and software application set up
  • Provide system analysis
  • Prepare all appropriate training materials and documentation prior to conduct training session(s) for Client's Project members
  • Provide functional solutions and specifications for development of different objects like Enhancements, Reports, Integrations, Forms & Printouts, Workflows and Portal objects.
  • Conduct unit testing of the developed objects
  • Plan for and assist during acceptance testing
  • Communicate status effectively in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Use own knowledge/experience and problem solving skills to creatively resolve complex issues and choose the best course of action
  • Proactive support the project managers with planning, activities and manage the team

SPECIFIC SKILLS
Mandatory requirements

  • More than five years, of experience of the design, concepts, principles and configuration of the software components in SAP
  • Integration from the SAP software components to other software components
  • Experience from large, global organizations
  • Excellent verbal communication and documentation capacity in English
  • You understand a company where a few basic values run through the entire company operation - a company that dare to give people responsibility
