Description
We require a Senior Java Developer for a six month contract. Must have at least 5 years Java Front End experience. A good knowledge of Spring and in particular S
pring MVC and Spring Webflow is essential.
- Design and develop web applications that separate Back End integration from business logic and presentation
- Define and develop technical interfaces with company core technical systems and 3rd party applications (provisioning, billing, user authentication, etc)
- Implement the data structures and code required to read data feeds originated by web users, 3rd party content feeds, product and user information databases or any other data source required to support and deliver the business requirements
- To develop and maintain eircom's online technical infrastructure including personalisation, content management, authentication and E-commerce systems
- To assist on the development and integration of Front End web interfaces and multimedia applications into the Back End systems and business logic layer. These interfaces will be targeted at different devices including PC, mobile & TV
- To use the appropriate (as per defined standards) methods, tools and processes for the planning, development, operation, management and maintenance of systems and applications.
- To write technical specification documents describing systems and applications following industry and company standards.
- To write, deploy and implement development test plans
- To facilitate knowledge transfer into other technical users, site managers and business users
- To be proficient on all applications and systems used by the company online department to assist end users in taking full advantage of those applications (advertising Servers, email, reporting, tracking, knowledge base)
