We are urgently seeking a high level Solution Architect to be based in the Hague for 6 months.

The purpose of this project is to define standard processes, implement an organization/governance model and setup the tools for software asset and license management.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in software asset management; ISO standard for SAM (ISO 19770) and ITIL Software Asset Management.
  • Experience in defining solution and integration architectures (eg solution architecture, interface specifications, data modelling) within large enterprises.
  • Generic TOGAF and ITIL knowledge and experience (eg service portfolio management)
  • Analytical capabilities
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Excellent workshops and communication skills
  • Experience with the design and implementation of software asset management processes and tools (eg automated inventory/discovery, configuration management, software license management)
  • Good understanding of the capabilities of automated inventory tools, license management tools, CMDB, reporting tools.
  • Experience in a multi-vendor sourcing model (where different service providers are involved in providing IT infrastructure)
  • Technical skills
  • High level experience and skills related to:
    - Integration technologies (eg SSIS and BizTalk)
    - Data modelling (and data management)
    - BI/Reporting solutions
    - Configuration management, automated inventory and software metering (tool capabilities such as from HP)
    - Software license models (eg Oracle, IBM)
    - Performance and capacity/sizing
