Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
You will be:
Leading the multi-disciplinary teams on major development projects, you will be responsible for developing mechanical designs for a range of products and processes in the consumer, medical, healthcare, industrial and clean-tech sectors.
You will process:
Strong creative and technical abilities in many of these areas: Concept generation; system level design; engineering analysis & detail design; 3D CAD; prototyping & lab testing; materials selection; analysis of static, dynamic, fluid or thermodynamic systems; design for high and low volume manufacturing; design for high reliability; launch into manufacture; manufacturing support, manufacturing processes
Degree - 1st or 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering. PM experience; ideally 4 projects minimum. Client management & presentation skills. Significant commercial awareness in one of the following environments: technical/design consultancy; technology start-up; new product development dept. Relevant practical experience with an in-depth knowledge of project leadership. Analytical & creative capabilities. Strong drive to improve skills. Bright, conscientious and creative with an ability to demonstrate a hobby with a practical or technical relevance.
