Storage Engineer, PCI, Recovery and Backup
Leading financial Services Client now requires an experienced Enterprise Storage and backup Engineer with a proven track record of designing and implementing PCI-certified enterprise storage solutions with back-up, recovery and DR facilities.
Th Storage and Backup Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and Configuration of storage management and access tools and the production of storage policies and procedures.
The ideal Storage Engineer will have the following key Skills:
- Proven Track Record of designing and implementing large secure PCI-certified corporate storage solutions
- Proven capability to produce PCI-Compliant Storage Design documents and diagrams
- Experience of storage implementation for various hardware platforms, specifically including WinTel, Unix/Sun Solaris
- Experience and knowledge of current PCI and Storage Security Standards
- Strong technical knowledge of the various Enterprise Storage products currently available
- Experience in working with third parties in the specification and delivery of enterprise storage solutions
- Proven Track Record in the specification of security and protection in the integration of external networks with Data Centre provider facilities
- Expert in Enterprise Storage standards, protocols, technologies and products
- Expert in PCI accreditation requirements
- Expert in storage data encryption standards, protocols, technologies and products
- Knowledge of the providers of enterprise storage products in the large corporate market space
- Expertise in the operation of large storage systems used by high-capacity transaction processing systems
