Senior Specialist Security:
Main Tasks:
The Senior Specialist Security has an in-depth knowledge of IT security infrastructure technologies as well as the Eurocontrol internal security infrastructure.
Maintain security appliances
Configure security appliances
Documentation
Analyse raw data and report on availability, performance, continuity, etc.
Advise on performance, availability, continuity, etc.
Subtasks:
Service Desk Agent - Remedy & Clarify
Receive calls
Record calls in the Incident Service Desk tool
Allocate the incident priorities
Make an initial assessment of the calls assigned to the Service Provider and try to solve it (first-line support)
Record resolution information in the Service Desk tool
Escalate to second or third line support
Monitor the progress of the call
Meet Service Levels
Keep customer informed
Manage the life cycle of a call
Other technical and administrative tasks
Monitoring Agent
Interpret alarms from the System Monitoring application and perform correct Alarm Management
Monitor the progress of the incident related to identified Alarms
Escalate in case of incorrect Alarm Correlation or notification (False positive)
Network and Security Monitoring Engineer
The monitoring engineer role is responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining the monitoring infrastructure.
Analyse and understand monitoring requirements
Implement monitoring requirements: configure alarms and notifications
Interpret incidents raised by alarms and notifications
Advise on possible improvements of the monitoring infrastructure.
Change Domain Consultant
Assist in change management process
Advise on upcoming changes
Assist in documentation and information management
Assist in problem management
Configuration Coordinator
Monitor & Verify CMDB Integrity
Perform CI Monitoring
Report CMDB Discrepancy to SP1 Configuration Management
Control & Maintain CMDB
Approve CMDB Additions
Verify CMDB Addition or Modification
Update and Close CMDB Work Orders
Identify Required CMDB Remediation Actions
Platform support
Maintain the technical infrastructure for Device Management and Alarm and Monitoring Services
Perform regular maintenance upgrades
Analyse and resolve issues related to the Device Management and Monitoring infrastructure
Profile description
Education and training:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related
Knowledge of following products: Checkpoint Firewalls, Bluecoat proxies, Infoblox, Cisco ACS, Sourcefire
Certification: CISSP, Nokia Security Administrator or equivalent
Tooling knowledge:
Level of experience
Level of implementation and configuration
Algosec (expert, senior, foundation)
Checkpoint SmartsOne (expert, senior, foundation)
Nokia Firewall(expert, senior, foundation)
Bluecoat management tool (expert, senior, foundation)
Infoblox management tool (expert, senior, foundation)
Personal skills and competences:
Minimum 10 years of experience in service oriented IT network infrastructure of which 5 in the security domain
This is a technical role, related skills and certifications are required.
