Contact Centre Architect - Avaya/Genesys

We are looking for an experienced Contact Centre Architect with specific Avaya/Genesys experience for one of our clients based in the Melbourne CBD. This role is a unique opportunity to be part of a team of experts working in one of the largest Voice environments in Australia. Extensive exposure to Avaya/Genesys platforms is mandatory.
You will deliver secure, highly available Voice Solutions that optimise operating costs over the life of the systems and IT infrastructure. Team environment, support networks and a healthy work/life balance are on offer.
You will provide senior strategic support of the organisations's extended Voice Services using high level technical expertise and experience.
This role covers Business As Usual and ongoing technology driven project based work.
Essential Background, Experience and Qualifications:
Qualifications in Telecommunications or Communications Engineering or relevant 7 years of hands on Architecture/Technical/Voice/Contact Centre specific experience.
Extensive experience in the architecture, design and operation of Genesys and Avaya Contact Centres.
Ability to develop and maintain Genesys Call Centre applications, Voicemail systems, SMDR and extension level billing systems.
NICE Call Recording experience.
Cisco UCCM - for overseas locations.
Ability to work autonomously within a team environment including demonstrated ability to document programs and processes.
Good organisational skills, interpersonal skills and customer focus within a wide range of people.
Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues, the business and additional stakeholders both internal and external.
Have a proactive and positive 'can-do-attitude'.
Outstanding communication skills - written and oral
Previous experience working within a large IT infrastructure in a voice capacity
