Consultant Unix/Linux #2342Start of project: September 2012
Duration: 6 months with possible prolongation
Location: London, GB
Duties:
- Operation of a complex Unix (Solaris) and Linux environment
- Autonomous failure detection and removal in 1st and 2nd level incidents
- Ordering technicians for hardware failures and coordination with data center team
- Assure data quality in respective server inventories
- Failure documentation within HP Service Center
Skills:
- good Solaris knowledge
- good Linux knowledge
- knowledge in Linux Cluster operation
- experience in migrations within high-availability enterprise environments
- experience in large environment is a “must-have”
