Connect44 is looking for 5x Software Engineers to join one of our most prestigious clients in Jorvas, Finland. The candidates will be in our clients R&D department.
Start date: August 2012
Duration: 5 month extendable
Rates: Negotiable
Requirements:
The candidate is required to have 2-5 years expertise in R&D SW development in some or most of the following areas:
- Router software, carrier-grade requirements and features such as ISSU, NSF, scalability etc.
- MPLS protocols, BGP/MPLS VPN, L2VPN, VPLS, (PWE3)
- Routing and Multicast protocols: BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, IGMP
- Transmission network protection, resiliency and OAM: MSP1+1, BFD, FRR, VRRP, IEEE802.X.yy, Y.1731
- Synchronisation: 1588, Sync-E G.8262, Synchronisation HW (OXSOs)
- Strong experience with RIB, FIB, Interface Manager, and other routing infrastructures
- Development with Linux operating systems, multi-threaded programming, TCP/IP sockets, virtualization etc. Candidate should have:
- Excellent coding and debugging skills with C, data structures and algorithms
BSc in Computer Science is required, but Master or PhD in Computer Science/Telecom/Datacom
