Senior Test Lead - Banking - Test Manager - Insurance
A leading Retail Bank based in Halifax is seeking a Senior Test Lead to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work with senior level professionals in a highly respected organisation. This is a business change role not a technical/IT position.
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for ensuring that the solution achieves the outcome defined by the project scope, requirements and solution design.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for managing the testing,
- Manage the production of a test Matrix & test scripts (within Quality Centre) to support the change. Ensure that Business Requirements are linked to scripts within Quality Centre,
- Define the business resource requirements to support the testing phases & ensure the business are fully engaged to provide overall confidence in the testing approach, coverage and ultimate sign off of the testing executed, prior to delivery into live,
- Take full responsibility for the quality and timeliness of own work and lead the testing workstream & resources, where necessary to ensure the production of detailed test plans & scripts to the highest quality. Escalating any issues/risks as appropriate to the project team and/or BAT Release Test Manager.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):
Test Management,
- Insurance Experience,
- Managing defects through Quality Centre.
- As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.
