Description
Operations Manager required for a global financial services company to support the development and maintenance of the operational capability to undertake regulated deposit-taking activity, working closely with the selected third party provider.
To support the Operations leader on all aspects of managing an outsourced operation including:
- Track performance of application processing and customer servicing arrangements
- Receive and interpret metrics on Service Level Agreement performance
- Undertake regular assessments of business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements.
- Participate in regular operating rhythm with third party provider, implementing appropriate follow-up actions, and tracking delivery of actions owned by third party provider
- Maintain regular review of all regulatory processes of third party provider eg reporting, AML, and confirm that these meet standards satisfactory to both GE and the FSA
- Maintain and develop all relevant policies, processes and procedures to support Operations
- Execution on change control and product introduction/re-price activity
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Process mind-set
- Experience in a UK retail banking environment including compliance and regulatory aspects
- Operational risk management/compliance background
- Strong evidence of working with multi-stakeholder teams with internal and external resources
- Self-motivated individual
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
