Our client is a hugely successful Pacific Northwest-based online retailer seeking an EDI Programmer/Analyst for a great contract opportunity!

As an EDI Analyst, you will interact with transportation carriers and other technology teams to define an implement integration strategies and tactics. You will work with different technical standards for different global regions, identifying EDI solutions to business needs and constantly improving the effectiveness of our client's EDI communications. The EDI Analyst partners with client business teams and carriers worldwide to identify new offerings and continuously improve the EDI integration process, current offerings and data quality. Additional tasks include maintenance of the client's EDI specifications, mapping and carrier configurations. To be successful, an EDI Analyst requires mastery of a variety of proven analytical, communication and leadership skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This position requires a minimum of a BA/BS in Business or an appropriate technical discipline
  • 3+ years of experience with ANSI X12 standards, especially V4010 and above, including Load Tenders, manifests, shipment status, and invoices
  • EDI 204, 215, 214 and 210, as well as corresponding EDIFACT and XML documents
  • Experience with EDI communications standards and protocols - AS2, SFTP, HTTPS
  • Experience with writing functional design documents, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, and with unit testing methods
  • Experience with at least one EDI Software Implementation platform (Contivo, Gentran, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills, an attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, and self-motivation
  • Successful characteristics include the ability to maintain a high level of energy, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment

PREFERRED:

  • Master's Degree in a related technical field
  • Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
  • Strong business judgment
  • Experience communicating with technical and no-technical stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Supply Chain/Logistics experience
