Software QA Tester
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of recent experience working in a structured Software Development environment, with experience in creating/executing functional test cases for host applications and distributed system environments. This individual will also gather and analyze data in support of the business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This will include writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems.
Candidates must enjoy the challenges of working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and proactively remove obstacles and take on new challenges. A strong aptitude for testing Web application development, good communication, collaboration, and technical skill are essential.
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in the design, development and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing
- Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies
- Strong experience with Quality Center
- Extensive experience with testing Distributed Systems
- Extensive experience with testing CIS/LPS/MSP
- Strong experience creating complex SQL queries a plus
