Our client is seeking an SENIOR LEVEL C++ programmer.
The location is Orange County, CA and this is a fulltime/direct hire role.
The job description is as follows:
Linux/Unix platform. Note: You will be required to take a C++ competency test as part of the interview process.
Experienced with web based development including dynamically generated charts/plots.
Recent hands-on experience designing and developing multi-threaded software on Linux/Unix.
Knowledge of Python integration with C/C++ strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Linux/UNIX Shell Scripts and SQL desired.
Must be a team player and possesses excellent verbal communication skills.
Must be able to project manage and work within a team environment.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be a high energy/self-starter with the ability to work independently within the firm ' s demanding and highly focused environment.
Experience in the Financial Industry, especially Fixed Income, Investment Management or Trading is required.
Requires at least a four-year college degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical/IT degree.
