Position Title: Web Developer - Intermediate
Duration: Contract - 4 months +
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005
Our Client is seeking a Web Developer for a 4 month+ contract position in Alpharetta, GA. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining dynamic web templates for a direct to consumer retail site. The Web Developer will also be responsible for leading and providing direction to the development team on usability issues and web best practices and standards. The Web Developer must also maintain a working knowledge of our client's systems and processes to aid in debugging or troubleshooting systems.

Web Developer Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or combination of education and experience acceptable.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience developing dynamic web pages for high-volume, multi-tiered web applications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience with eCommerce/web-based projects, specifically around building and enhancing web applications and consumer engagement channels
- Thorough knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSP, Adobe Suite, Section 508/ADA Compliance, cross browser compatibility, SVN, Apache, and content management systems (FatWire is a plus)
- Knowledge of project life cycle for application development using Agile/SCRUM
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of social media and Web 2.0 technologies
- Experience with web-based application development and industry trends
- Knowledge of financial services or credit industry is desired
- Project Management and/or testing background
