This client requires a Storage SAN/NAS Technical Consultant for an exciting contract opportunity based in Melbourne. This role will be highly suited to Storage technical consultant who has had previous experience in business consulting, VMware and DS8000 and below. This exciting contract opportunity will be required for an immediate start.You will be required to possess technical working knowledge of IBM SAN/NAS and/or Premium Team equipment/software products. You will be required to support all software configurations of the following IBM storage systems, Switches and software. Ideally this resource will be highly skilled working with VMware storage Technologies.

- 2105 Enterprise Storage Server
- DS3000 DS4000 DS5000 DS6000 DS8000 XIV
- SAN Volume Controller
- Tivoli Storage Productivity
- Center Brocade/McData SAN Switches
- Data Center Fabric Manager
- IBM Tape Drives and Libraries
Possess strong communication and verbal soft skills which facilitates a positive interaction with the customer. Communications skills should incorporate the following: Confidence & Professionalism Executing Dynamic Interpersonal Communications with customers, IBM management and co-workers. Ability to communicate technical information to customers in a way that is easily understood Ideally you will have a SAN/NAS and/or Premium technical field background and/or experience which can provide hardware/software problem solving skills, and should be capable of discussing technical situations and scenarios with the end-user, customers, and IBM management.
