My client, a large financial services client is looking for a Controls Auditor to join their team in Glasgow.
This is a new role to develop the approach for providing assurance, and will involve assisting managers in identifying and documenting the key controls which prevent material misstatements in annual financial performance across the organisation. The successful candidate will assist in identifying and designing the control and performance processes as systems are developed and changed, to help ensure maintenance of an appropriate control and performance framework.
Candidate requirements:
*IIA/CIPFA/CA/ACCA qualified Auditor
*Strong people skills, able to develop an effective approach fro providing assurance
*Auditing experience gained in a regulated environment, ideally in the public sector
*Good knowledge of internal controls and governance requirements
*Familiarity within an IT driven environment
* All candidates will have to undergo a security check including a credit check.*
