Call Dispatcher/Resource Scheduler/Dispatch Administrator

Exciting opportunities have arisen for Call Dispatchers/Resource Schedulers/Dispatch Administrators to join a well-established blue chip organisation based in Aldermaston near Tadley.

As a Call Dispatchers you will be responsible for arranging the daily work schedules for the Field Service support team ensuring maximum productivity is achieved. This is done through analysing the tickets that require attendance during the day, gathering them into a close geographical area and then dispatching the appropriately located engineer. The dispatcher will need to liaise with the end customer to update them on the location of the engineer, confirm attendance, provide time updates etc. You will need to be able to build relationships with the engineers in order to dispatch them to sites and will manage the ticket queue for the engineers ensuring tickets are put into work, updated with accurate comments/statuses and closed as appropriate.

The successful Call Dispatcher/Resource Scheduler/Dispatch Administrator will have:
*1-2 year's recent experience working in a call centre (preferably in dispatch)
*Excellent customer service skills
*Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly EXCEL)
*Exceptional telephone manner and communication skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*Good awareness of IT systems and IT support terminology

The successful candidate needs to be IT literate as they will need to learn and work with the client's in-house ticket management system. The client is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual willing to go the extra mile and contribute to this and innovative team.

This is a 6 month contract position with the possibility of a permanent opportunity at the end of the contract. The working hours will be 8 hours a day Monday to Friday.

This would suit an individual with a previous experience in dispatch looking to start their career by getting a foot in the door to an international expanding company!
