Role: Network Implementation EngineerRates; up to $967per day
Location: Basra, Iraq
Type: Contract (Rotation) 4/4
Duration: 12 months
Our global Oil and Gas client is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer to join their IT&C team in Iraq.
The Network Implementation Engineer will be responsible for the following;
-Ensure project objectives are met and project managers are informed of progress
-Highlight potential delays and seek solutions to overcome these
-Actively participate in project meetings
-Provide timely updates to the project delivery technical team lead
-Adhere to governance structures and change control processes and submit the appropriate CRF in a timely manner
-Produce detailed project documentation and handover to operational teams
-Provide 3rd line operational support for newly delivered
-Assist the Project Technical Team Lead with designs
-Provide internal training to operations team members on new systems
-Implementation of project deliverables throughout the ROO area of operations
-Ensure that new systems and processes are compatible and in line with existing infrastructure and methodologies
The Network Implementation Engineer will have;
-University level education preferably in Engineering/IT or related discipline.
-Minimum Cisco CCNP
-ITIL Foundations
-Proven track record in a project team role
-Proven track record in delivering large IT projects in challenging timescales
-Proven ability to work under pressure and with limited supervisor
-Proven track record in producing project handover documentation
