Implementation Manager - Banking - Newport - £396 per day
A leading retail bank requires a Implementation Manager to work in Newport.
To deliver the divestment of a portion of the Group in line with EU/Government/UK Banking Commission requirements.
Deliverables for this role include:
- To manage the implementation of the programme, developing & managing the transition plan across Other Divisions where they impact and third parties.
- Reporting progress and readiness to the Programme and to the Programme Manager.
- Support the Programme Manager in stakeholder management.
- Interface with 5 other project managers to ensure the implementation is co-ordinated
Skills and background required include:
- 5+ years in project management preferably in financial services.
- Experienced and managing single and cross programme implementations and associated planning activity.
- Previous experience working in a team of project managers as well as leading a team and their own work streams.
- Experience of financial and project reporting.
- Skilled in plan creation and maintenance using MSP.
- Able to work with all levels of stakeholder including Director/Executive.
- Confident and experienced in running a range of project meetings including steering group level.
