Senior Test Analyst/Lead - Retail Banking
A leading Retail Bank based in Halifax is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work with senior level professionals in a highly respected organisation. This is a business change role not a technical/IT position.
The purpose of the project is a Simplification of products. You will deliver the business testing for a small project or workstream within a larger project.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that the solution achieves the outcome defined by the project scope, requirements and business solution design.
- Involved in multiple stages of the project life cycle including business testing.
- Basic project management
- Stakeholder management
- To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):
Experience as a Senior Test Analyst or Lead
- Has detailed knowledge of at least one of the core Banking, Savings & Investments systems or collateral.
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation & Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing and working towards practitioner level.
- Able to use Quality Centre to produce management information on the progress of testing
- Knowledge of automated test tools such as QTP.
- Knowledge of MS-Project - able to produce a deliverables based plan
- Takes responsibility for writing Test Strategy/Test plans and provides input to Environment strategies
- Reviews all testing documentation for required test phases
As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.
