Job Description
Preparation and review of monthly Management Accounts including P&L's, margin schedule
Gross Profit against Budget Analysis
Profit recognition analysis
Provide input to the Finance Director's Board Report
Preparation of Group Management Accounts pack
Overheads reporting and analysis and liaison with departments on spend
Prepare WIP reports and review with commercial teams
Involvement in periodic review of contract Cost Value Recognition reports
Challenge existing Management Accounts processes and suggest improvements
Opportunity to develop management reports and businesses' KPI's
Provision of financial information to support prequalification and tender activity
Ad hoc projects (eg profit recognition change review)
Skills & Experience
Qualified member of CIMA/ACCA/CPA
Strong Management Accounting experience would be preferred
Excellent communication skills - liaising with all levels from Board directors to Finance department processing team
Strong team ethic - supporting and working with all members of Finance team
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (v-look up, pivot tables, formulae-writing, graphs, charts and tables, formatting)
Energetic and flexible team member
Ability to communicate positively and effectively
Ability to manage workload and prioritise when under pressure
Willing to take on responsibility
Strong attention to detail
