Description
The role of an Integration designer is to focus on Infrastructure solutions and designs to support the business processes/applications required by the client.
Working for a globally recognised organisation, our client has embarked on a long term project focused on deploying new infrastructure platforms. Focusing on the solutions and designs to the business processes; you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop set of Non-Functional Requirements from Business and IT
- Perform IT Infrastructure Architecture Assessment
- Architect Conceptual Infrastructure Model
- Architect Specified Infrastructure Model
- Design Physical Infrastructure Model
- Develop Infrastructure Component Specifications
- Analyse Viability of Infrastrcuture Architecture
- Perform Vendor/Product/Design/Implementation Tools Selection
Ideally, you will have the following experience:
- Experience in designing Microsoft Windows operating system and infrastructure including Windows Server, Active Directory, Intellimirror and Windows XP.
- Demonstrated experience in Windows Active Directory enterprise-wide deployments and migrations at technical design, specialist and support levels.
- Experience with Microsoft products such as MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, MS HIS Server, IIS Server and MS ISA Server.
- Demonstrated experience designing and solutioning IBM AIX operating system and pSeries infrastructure including virtualisation Technologies.
- Sound knowledge IBM and other of Storage technologies including N-Series, SANs, EMC, DS Technologies.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN and networking technologies, components and protocols.
