My client is looking to URGENTLY hire an enthusiastic and accomplished marketing professional. Reporting to the Marketing Controller this Marketing Manager will be actively involved in all aspects of delivering the marketing plans, as well as working closely with the rest of the business to ensure that priorities flow through all appropriate marketing activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Marketing Controller to manage the channel positioning, brand identity.
  • Translate the marketing strategy into deliverable marketing campaigns and on-air use and to identify short and long term marketing priorities.
  • Write and implement briefs for internal and external agencies across media, online, creative and research.
  • Work closely with Creative Agencies to ensure consistency across on air and online.
  • Communicate clear, relevant marketing materials (publicity, customer marketing, presentation).
  • Build strong relationships with the channel teams including PR, The Bigger Picture, scheduling, acquisition, commissioning teams, as well as across various teams including sponsorship, online and promotions.
  • Ensure all output is correct, in line with the marketing guidelines for the communication of the key message priorities for that point in time.
  • Be an advocate for all content and encourage 360 degree campaigns
  • Provide outstanding creative leadership to both internal members of staff and external teams working with the department.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out cost effectively, efficiently and within budget.
  • Keep ahead of developments in the field of marketing, maintaining links with the industry and incorporating fresh research or approaches into marketing plans where relevant.
  • Presenting campaigns at head of and director level.
