Anteo Group has an immediate need for a Sr. Business Analyst in Alpharetta. As a Sr. BA Analyst you will play an integral part in an enterprise-level initiative. This will be an initial 5 month project, looking to start the second week in August.

The Sr. Business Analyst will work on a team and will work on new projects as well as some troubleshooting and maintenance. This role is for a senior level BA who ideally has HR and/or Payroll experience with software applications

Experience:

  • Use Case design experience required
  • Five or more years of active involvement as a business analyst with active system requirements definition expertise and/or similar expertise in direct customer contact with product vendors.
  • Two or more years experience managing web based application development projects and/or implementation projects preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ADP Payroll applications and/or significant payroll/HR domain expertise.
  • A solid background gathering requirement and creating solid documentation. The documentation needs to be written in a way that many audiences will be able to understand (ie Developers will understand as well as various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Word
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience with SQL Plus from a BA perspective is helpful
  • Knowledge of iRise a plus- but not a requirement

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Use Case Documentation (via UML/use cases).
  • Any AGILE experience is plus- but not required

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepares comprehensive documentation used in the development and testing of product fixes and enhancements.
  • Defines and communicates detailed functional requirements.
  • Provides detailed functional input into the design and development of divisional software applications that meet or exceed customer (end user) requirements in the areas of usability and functionality.
  • Works with Development, Quality Assurance and other internal groups to ensure the on-time delivery of projects
  • Provides user-oriented, subject matter expertise input into the design and development of product features and fixes. Develops, in conjunction with the product manager, users and technical staff, functional requirements and design specification for new application features. Researches, records and suggests corrections to functional product deficiencies. Proposes product enhancements to increase the usability and functionality of products.
  • Acts as the Payroll functional subject matter expert within the department and division with regards to making functional product implementations decisions and representing and communicating the needs of diverse client requirements.
  • Maintains currency of skills as related to industry needs, trends and forecasts.
  • Serves as a focal point for roll-out communications by providing internal training to support associates, account managers and beta client personnel on release features.
  • Communicates new product features/pre-release knowledge to associates who need such information to fulfil their business responsibilities (ie, technical writers, trainers, etc.).
  • Reviews and provides input to the testing process and Quality Assurance test plans.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll, HR or client service capacity with proven proficiencies in problem solving and resolution through effective communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize work. Must have the ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders, project managers and staff and work under pressure of time constraints.
