We are seeking QA Analyst(HL7) for 9 month contract position in Alpharetta, GA. Individual will w

ork on the testing of pharmacy systems. Assist with product management or development of pharmacy systems. Provide credibility necessary to gain acceptance with customers

Skills:
Five (5) plus years' experience in inpatient pharmacy operations at Integrated Health Network (IHN) level or similar settings. Three (3) plus years experience testing Client Server and Web application software systems. Thorough understanding of integrated hospital system workflows, CPOE and interface engines. Preferred: Experience using pharmacy systems, preferably Horizon Meds Manager and Med Mover.

Four-year degree in computer science, medical technology, or related field or equivalent experience. Extensive HL7 knowledge and experience (certification preferred). Registered pharmacist (RPh, PharmD) or certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) will be considered depending upon other experience and other skills.

Responsibilities:

    • Work with complex pharmacy systems and the many unique variables of those systems. Perform testing of a highly-complex nature with minimal supervision, on Client Server and Web applications
    • Review operating logs to identify program processing errors
    • Able to participate in highly technical exchanges with internal QA team, cross-functional teams, and external organizations to facilitate analysis and design of test scenarios.
    • Write test strategy and test plan documents
    • Analyze product requirements, use cases, and defects
    • Estimate test effort
    • Plan, design, develop and execute tests according to industry standard techniques and tools
    • Discover, enter, track to completion, re-test, and close defects
    • Use HP/Mercury Quality Center and Borland StarTeam for test case management and defect tracking.
    • May create automated tests using Quick Test Professional (QTP) and Business Process Testing (BPT) technologies and methodologies
    • Use Microsoft software: Outlook, Communicator, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
