C# ASP.NET Developer Sydney Area
1 month Contract with possibility of extension
Overview
The key objective of the Application Developer is to develop applications to enhance the suite of software tools offered by our client to the market.
The Application Developer is primarily responsible for developing new and existing applications to enhance the suite of software tools and managing the IT systems running the software for our client.
The Application Developer reports to the GM.
Key responsibilities
- Develop software applications, including technical design, code, database design, user interface coding, web services,
- Create associated implementation plans, scripts, unit testing and user documentation,
- Install and maintain software applications on client Servers and other devices,
- Design specific software interfaces between software applications and existing client applications,
- Assist users in clearly specifying their requirements for software functionality,
- Manage all stages of the software development process, from user requirements to delivery of fully functional applications,
- Inform decision-making around IT systems procurement and management.
Key requirements
- 2-5 years proven experience in software development using .NET framework and C#,
- Proven experience developing graphical user interfaces ie ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, JavaScript,
- Experience with MS SQL,
- Experience in server administration using Windows Server 2008,
- Tertiary education in Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering a plus,
- Experience and knowledge of Project Management and ERP systems,
- Strong service ethic and commercial acumen,
- Strong ability to work in both collaborative and autonomous contexts,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- Excellent time management skills and self-motivation.
