Procurement Consultant (Local Senior consultants) - Buying Center duties
Job Description:Location: Bangalore/India
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree preferably in Business Administration, engineering or a related field. Advance degree in a related field or equivalent preferred.
- Familiar with and experience Indirect Purchasing will be required and ideal.
- Indirect Purchasing includes commodities such as: Facility, Marketing, and Professional Services.
- Must be proficient in spoken/written in English
- Ability to work with all level including legal, finance, Lines of Businesses to ensure procurement processes are integrated locally.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Work on procurement projects where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors and achieve the objectives of projects.
- With strong communication and presentation skill as well as interactive you will drive for success the result of projects
- Work with minimum supervision and comfortable to work in a virtual organization and reporting
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 10 years' experience in purchasing or supply chain operations in the following areas:
- Develop and execute complex sourcing strategies for a commodity or region
- High value RFX execution
- Manage complex and high value requirements including complex pricing negotiations
- Understand and negotiate complex legal contract terms and conditions
