Procurement Consultant - Specialist (F/M) in Facility Management
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Consultant with a strong background in global Procurement and Facility Management. This role will be responsible for procurement of Facility management projects and services in Bangalore/India.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree preferably in Business Administration, engineering or a related field.
- Advance degree in a related field or equivalent preferred.
- Strong organization, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong Project Management skills
- Excellent knowledge in procuring Facility Management services, processes and tools
- Strong analytical skills and supportive attitude
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate into purchasing requirements
- Must be proficient in spoken/written in English
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Understand Facility Management's key requirements
- Collaborate with the wider supplier sourcing team to produce, implement, and support sourcing strategies that ensure best value for Global Facility Management
- Pro-actively conduct market analysis/benchmarking, track market trends and manage supplier performance.
- Develop and manage supplier portfolios and undertake supplier negotiations through relationship-building to maximize business benefits.
- Conduct solicitations for and execute against high-dollar, high-risk, complex and global purchases.
- Identify opportunities for increased competitive bidding, smarter supplier relationships and more efficient procurement processes.
- Conduct competitive bidding using a multi step sourcing process and utilization of e-auctions
- Negotiation of complex agreements with vendors
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years professional experience in business development, facility purchasing, facility engineering
- Deep facility management experience in a global setting
- Proven ability in managing complex supplier contracts and partnerships
- Possesses proven abilities in negotiating a variety of facility related topics along with new build, renovation, facility services and maintenance agreements.
- Experience in SAP R3/SRM system preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office
