RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for translating the business process and its requirements into a business solution. Accountable for requirements, design, testing and implementation deliverables. Models the business process, reconciling the process and data models. Designs the application architecture. Provides business leadership to the developers on the project teams.

COMPETENCIES:
Prepare strategic business requirements, uses accepted concepts, standards, SDLC methodologies, and toolsets; fully utilize data and process modelling techniques along with workflow analysis techniques; consult with customer and systems personnel to determine type of information to be processed; devise data verification methods and standard systems procedures; define and analyze needs and information requirements; prepare charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analysing problems, utilizing various business, scientific, engineering and mathematical techniques; plan projects; estimate project requirements; communicate well with customers at a level they understand; develop in-depth understanding of business areas where existing or modernized programs could provide solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent training or work experience; knowledge of data modelling; knowledge of business functions supported by a major application system or multiple smaller systems. Five plus years applications analysis experience or equivalent; some experience with or exposure to business process management and an awareness of the use of information technology to improve work processes.

Job Description:
This position provides IT business systems support for e-Marketing initiatives within the Pharmaceutical Division (PD). Primary client areas are PD product marketing teams, but may also include other organizations. Business e-Marketing efforts can take many forms such as Internet web sites; e-mail marketing campaigns, iPad native applications - sales aids, e-detailing campaigns, external-facing physician portals, and a variety of multimedia tools. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working directly with product marketing managers to assist in testing and implementing the electronic elements of a marketing plan and executing a formal test and review process prior to implementations: providing quick response at times due to business conditions or pressures; working directly with external development agencies to communicate and educate on PD standards for technologies and business; understanding and communicating the requirements for applying the visual elements of corporate branding; coordination, facilitation and troubleshooting loading the test environments for new or modified software to allow review; working with service suppliers (internal and external) for file management and version control in addition to implement changes to existing systems/sites/processes; and understanding the medical/regulatory review process within PD and assisting as needed to assure client projects go through the review cycle successfully. The position works within a team of similar positions, collectively providing support across the franchises within PD, and under the direction of a department manager.

The position offers the opportunity to be directly linked to PD's expanding efforts to market products to consumers and health care professionals, using electronic channels.

Skills/Experience Requirements.
The position also requires knowledge of e-Marketing projects primarily web site and email "mechanics" and technologies, technical troubleshooting skills, a client-focused attitude, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate must possess the ability to execute in a process-oriented environment with attention to detail; the ability to handle multiple projects or requests simultaneously; the ability to prioritize work effectively; and the ability to work under hard deadlines. Previous IT development experience for e-Marketing projects is desired, Experience developing mobile enabled web sites or mobile application is a plus. Knowledge of search engine optimization, search engine marketing, and web site analytics like Omniture is desirable. Previous experience creating and executing software quality test plans, protocols and validation experience is a plus. Ability to keep informed of current and upcoming technologies and eMarketing opportunities. (ie social media and networks, smart phone applications etc.)

Core Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilizes technical skills to implement and trouble shoot e-marketing solutions (web sites, email campaigns, iPad applications etc.) hosted both in and out of the environment.
-Develops and executes all software quality testing documentation, develops preliminary findings for review by clients and/or management.
-Provides direct support for assigned business areas.
-Works directly with clients and applies IT and business knowledge and experience to formulate an IT solution for a business problem.
-Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures, in addition to applicable federal and/or state laws.
-Works with minimal management direction.
-Applies and executes standard information systems theories, concepts and techniques and assists in the development of standards and procedures.
-Investigates alternatives and makes recommendations.
-Manages projects according to milestones and within budget.
-Identifies and implements process improvements.
-Work demonstrates soundness of business judgment and ensures overall results and objectives have been achieved.
