Manages and analyzes monetary resources and affairs within an organization. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients. May Scope of the project: also be responsible for conducting technical accounting research as needed. Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Updates and collects business unit reporting packages, helps prepare ad hoc financial reporting as necessary.

Experience Level: BA in Finance or Accounting required plus minimum 6+ years of direct relevant experience.

Experience Requirements: Financial planning and analysis, at least 6 years of experience

Work Environment: Administrative office

Analytical skills, basic accounting knowledge, strong knowledge of financial concepts and processes such as budgeting, forecasting, business case development and financial modelling and strong knowledge of financial modelling and office tools (excel, Powerpoint)

Daily responsibilities:

  • Represent business unit with Accounting in transition to new general ledger system (problem solving, research, recommendations)
  • Prepare month end reporting for purposes of close and reporting on monthly results, business case financial modelling, ad hoc financial modelling, presentation support
