A major Insurance company based in the Sydney CBD requires a Reporting Specialist for 3 months initially with prospects of extension and potentially moving permanent (if interested). Working on a key Claims project used internationally, you will be required to focus on developing the Claims Operational reporting capability within a short time frame and then potentially move to the long term strategic BI analytics solution across the entire administration platform.

About the role:
The ideal candidate will have worked in financial Services or banking and understand the dynamics of this environment. You will be proficient in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and have some experience with Oracle with some Datamodelling. Excellent communication is key as you will be liaising closely with BA and business users overseas.

Key Skills required:

  • 4+yrs SSRS reporting experience
  • Oracle experience, preferable Oracle 11g (Ability to view the database and apply changes)
  • Banking/Finance/insurance experience
  • Experience with SSIS/SSAS is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and written skills
