Functional Business Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION:
5+ years experience as a functional business analyst plus the ability to work with end users to fully document system enhancements and modifications. Previous financial or manufacturing experience a strong plus. Must have previous experience working on application development projects. This BA must have previously worked on creating documentation and specifications from which developers code from and tester test from.

In this you role will:

• Lead the efforts of business users as well as IT staff to plan, design, document and help launch new large scale business and operational systems.
• Gathering, analyze and document information and/or data in support of business cases, proposed projects and application requirements.
• Collaborate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Create and maintain documents as defined by the Application Development life cycle to provide direction to application programmers.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications.
• Direct and Manage project development from beginning to end.
• Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.

Some of the exciting projects include: spearhead the analysis and documentation for a brand new division/line of business. Work on conversion of Legacy applications to.NET and re-engineer the external client web portal. Previous manufacturing experience a plus as is the ability to work closely with end users to fully document new feature/system enhancements.
