Description
Sharepoint Developer required for a New Contract role within a London based Tier One Investment Bank.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a Greenfield key project using SharePoint and FAST search and integrating this solution into the wider web application portal. As well as this, the successful candidate will be expected to be the primary developer on a new system for the Product and Services team working with the main Intranet technologies team on the wider SharePoint applications rollout. The role requires the understanding of the complexities of data security and data protection issues and have an understanding of the European Data Protection act and the implications of various jurisdictional issues on the movement and sharing of potentially sensitive data.
For this role, the successful candidate must demonstrate an expert level of SharePoint and have a strong knowledge of infrastructure and infrastructure issues related to SharePoint and Enterprise level deployments. As well as this an understanding and experience with web content management solutions and experience with business process management, workflow and collaboration solutions around SharePoint is essential for this role.
In addition to core technical SharePoint experience and skills, experience of development of web based solutions (C#, ASP.NET applications, SQL and web services), application life cycle management and AGILE methodologies is essential.
