Software Configuration Manager
A leading Financial Services sector client now requires a Software Configuration Manager to manage the build and release of code to various environments and procedures throughout the development life cycle, ensuring that the builds and releases are kept up-to-date, fully documented and are deployable. The Software Configuration Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing configuration processes for a project with a tight timescales.
The ideal Software Configuration Manager will have the following skills:
-Ability to communicate to a wide audience of professionals internally and externally
-The roles requires someone with a passion for the detail, an understanding of governance, deep experience in providing data centric solutions, and a capability to consult, frame and deliver a compelling argument for change experience
-Previous experience in source control (Git), Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins), batch build processes and other build tools
-In addition candidates should have worked on Unix platforms
