Title: Content Management Development & Operations Lead

Location: San Diego

DETAILS

Major responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical leadership to a team of onshore and offshore developers
  • Design, develop, implement and maintain web application components for the SDL Tridion Content Management System
  • Adhere to standards concerning system scope and objectives, development, deployment, and documentation
  • Design, code, test, debug and document web application user interfaces
  • Maintain and upgrade the SDL Tridion Implementation
  • Ensure that development work conforms with SDLC standards and methodologies
  • Maintain code/templates/components so that it will work on new browsers versions
  • Review code for quality
  • Develop and review standards
  • Resolve issues relating to data security
  • Recommend enhancements to user interfaces and applications.
  • Interact with vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Serve as on-call respondent, available 7x24 by pager/cell phone

Qualifications

Required

  • 4 years of development and administrative experience with a commercial content management system
  • Experience in Object Oriented Design and Development in Java
  • Proven experience in web user interface development.
  • 4 years of experience with Java-oriented and/or C software development support technologies such as source code management, build control, static code analysis, test coverage, defect tracking, and unit testing.
  • Strong Java Fundamentals
  • 4 years JEE experience
  • 2 years of experience in a Unix/Linux environment (Redhat Stack Preferred)
  • CSS
  • Javascript (jQuery preferred, others a plus)
  • Strong HTML development skills (HTML 5 a plus)

Preferred

  • JSON and JSONP development in both the browser and at the application layer
  • XML and related technologies (XSLT, XSD)
  • Dreamweaver Template development experience
  • WebServices development with Java technologies.
  • Experience in SOA environments
  • Experience with Web Analystics
  • JBoss Enterprise Portal Platform development experience
  • Portlet development experience
  • Experience with Geolocation applications (Google Maps, ESRI)
  • .NET development experience (C# a plus)
  • Experience with Maven
