Description
My Midlands based client is looking for an Experienced Controls Systems Engineer to be the Controls lead of the special purpose machine design and manufacturing department, on an initial 6 month contract.
The desired candidate is likely to be Degree qualified, have approximately 10 years' experience in system specification, electrical design, writing control software for small to medium sized (100K to £1M) Automation systems comprising of special purpose machinery and robotic handling solutions in a fast pace working environment.
Experience in supplying machinery into the pharmaceutical/medical industry would be seen as an advantage. The ability to generate accurate documentation and lead by example is essential.
Directing and managing subcontract and less experienced staff
Experience with the following would be an advantage but not crucial.
IEC1131, EPLAN, Mitsubishi PLCs, B&R Controls, Siemens PLC's, Allen Bradley PLC's, OMRON PLC's, Bekhoff Twincat, Nachi, Staubli, Fanuc and GAMP standards.
