The Racing Post Group operates a number of daily and weekly publications as well as asuccessful website and applications focused primarily on horseracing and betting. The
business was bought out in 2007 from Trinity Mirror Group, by Dublin based private equity group FL Partners. The owners have invested significant resources in the paper and in developing online and multimedia services and expanding the title into new markets. We are looking for a motivated individual with an interest in the sports business industry for an internship in our Commercial department.
The successful candidate will be keen to develop experience in a commercial environment. This internship involves providing administrative and sales support to the Commercial department. It is essential that applicants have excellent communication skills and high attention to detail. A minimum of five GCSEs, achieved at grade C or above, is required for this role. The internship is full-time and for the duration of six months. This will be paid and mentoring will be provided throughout.
Successful candidates will be ambitious, confident, highly motivated self-starters, with a
keen interest in horseracing. They should possess the following attributes:
