We are actively looking to recruit a contract Java Developer for our market leading Fund Management Investment client.
The role is in the heart of the 'square mile' business centre and the programme of work is ongoing.
Our client is experiencing a variety of business change programmes so the contract work will be highly challenging, at times complex but extremely rewarding.
Our client requires the Java Developer to operate to extremely high standards, both technically and professionally; the successful Java Developer will have gained a Computer Science degree from a Russell Group University.
As part of a business critical Java technical team, you will be responsible for developing a variety of applications that address the business needs. This will be a purely technical role, although you will be able to communicate with Front, middle and Back Office teams. The successful individual will have superb communication and presentation skills and take ownership of a mixture of established and new development projects.
The core technologies that my client requires are as follows.
Core Java Development, with excellent OSS J2EE
Tibco Middleware.
Must have understanding of Front Office Financial Instruments and products
Trading platform commercial experience
Computer Science degree from Russell Group University only
Has the ability to start a contract at short notice
