Description
Certified Test Manager Certification such as ISTQB, ISEB or equivalent
- 10 years of industry experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years of experience working as an IT Test Manager
- In-depth software quality assurance experience including proven management, supervisory or leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Test Manager Certification such as ISTQB, ISEB or equivalent
- Five years of experience as an IT Test Manager in the healthcare industry
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the definition of scope and delivery of testing strategy deliverables with management, policy and clinical teams
- Ensures the department has a viable and agreed upon testing strategy to be employed for MMIS operations and associated projects
- Develops a strategy and reporting process for communicating System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing test results. Develops both summary and detail level metrics to provide status to project team and stakeholders
- Works with DCH policy, clinical team and IT to develop test plans, test cases, and data requirements needed to support test case execution
- Coordinates the refresh of UAT environment to support testing activities
- Takes responsibility for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities for the UAT environment including; coordination of SIT with the fiscal agent and assist in defining the SIT output in order to validate results; coordination of UAT tasks, work packages and deliverables; coordination of Performance/Benchmark Testing with fiscal agent; coordination of Load Testing (if applicable) with fiscal agent; coordination of Pre-readiness testing with fiscal agent; coordination of Operational Readiness testing with fiscal agent
- Utilizes testing knowledge and experience to assess and make recommendations on the practicality of testing process alternatives
- Analyzes environment and makes recommendations on any additional tools needed to either validate or improve the efficiency of testing. Identifies improvements to the process and assists in their implementation
- Ensures any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the system test plan are clearly documented and described to project team, stakeholders and operational staff
- Provides recommendations and guidance to project team on any aspect of testing, including training of testers for both DCH policy and IT
- Plans, arranges and facilitates meetings during test planning and throughout subsequent development and testing activities
- Works with operational staff and project teams on the development and approval of all testing deliverables and testing milestones
- Coordinates builds with fiscal agent for releases to UAT and production environments
