Opportunity for a Senior IT Application Support Analyst - (GoldenSource Security Master) with investment management experience.
You will be involved in a strategic initiative to deliver a high quality reference data standard across the firm's trading and investments systems. A comprehensive knowledge of the financial markets from a Front Office perspective, with a solid product & process knowledge gained within an investment management environment (eg financial instruments, Trading workflow etc) is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Providing business and technical support for the existing implementation of GoldenSource Security Master.
- Providing application administration support for the Security Master and the downstream trading applications.
- Manage the UAT & regression testing of application upgrades & patches
- Becoming a focal point of contact for all Investments staff using this application while gaining a good level of understanding of our end-to-end trade flow.
- Building an understanding of the technical infrastructure of the application.
- Providing consultancy and technical support for the existing implementation of the applications.
- Building an understanding of the technical infrastructure and applications
- Interacting with internal development teams
Requirements:
* At least 5 years experience working with a best-of-breed trading application in either a technical support or business support role, providing customer focused support at the front & Middle Office level in an investment manager or similar institution.
* A working knowledge of GoldenSource Security Master
* Exposure on Latent Zero or Charles River, or a strong knowledge of trading applications/trading flow in general would be beneficial.
* Excellent understanding of trade workflow between front, middle and Back Office applications.
* Understanding of Financial Instruments.
* Ability to manage vendor relationships, ensuring issues are addressed in a timely manner and that all software releases & upgrades are managed accordingly.
