Job Description
Changes are being implemented to the provisioning and de-provisioning processes and workflows that require document updating. The Identity & Access Management Tech Writer is responsible for understanding and updating an extensive suite of project, technical, certification and operational documentation to align the provisioning and de-provisioning process changes.

Essential Functions:

  • Experienced in documentation design, development and control
  • Ability to work autonomously when necessary and be able to manage priorities and time to meet assigned goals and deadlines
  • Changes of existing documentation to accommodate updates and enhancements
  • Creation of new documents where gaps are identified
  • Documentation set is well established and has been refined to be as useful yet compact as possible; continuous improvements and suggestions for doing so are an expected part of this role
  • You will also be expected to provide training material as needed
  • The role optionally includes the development of context-sensitive application help for the product/service suite

    MINIMUM Requirements:
  • Excellent communications and customer service skills required
  • Excellent phone, meeting and presentation demeanor
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills required, attention to detail a must
  • Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite must be skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience with document repositories and workflow; Microsoft Enterprise Collaboration Framework (ECF) experience a must; LiveLink and other repository experience a plus
  • Familiarity in Acrobat Reader and Writer required, must be able to convert documents into PDF format
  • Ability to handle and resolve problems and communicate effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team
  • Ability to prioritize and follow established work processes
  • Professionalism, integrity, flexibility, security, customer service oriented and a team player
  • Ability to utilize excellent time management to complete daily schedules

    MINIMUM Experience and Education:
  • BA/BS plus 5 to 7 years of experience in an office setting, preferred OR equivalent work experience (1-2 years in a similar role), desired
  • Experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry, or large IT (Information Technology) organization a major plus.
